I propose that ag's be grown using a handicap system. The growers who live in the best states should grow the biggest pumpkins, therefore RI for instance would be assigned a handicap of zero. The state with the worst growing conditions would receive the highest handicap. Growers from that state would be awarded the most "extra pounds" based on the handicap. I say level the playing field. What do you all think?

I don't think there is a better state. I know there are more and more people on the west coast and the south who are growing giant pumpkins. I think its just a matter of time before they perfect it for there state. I think its working its way down from canada, throughout the united states and the world. (sport of giant pumpkin growing) Just my two cents worth.
