Just wondering if we could get this form started. With all the leaves I have growing and no pumpkins to speak of, I think it would be a good place to write about your moans and groans that go along with growing giant pumpkins. That almost sounds like something a sandbagger would say!!

I have about 600 sq ft of great looking lettuce and 14 aborted fruits. In about 2 weeks I think I will pull the plant and grow some real lettuce LOL

Ron, I have 1100 sq. ft. of beautiful green leaves growing. No pumpkins worth mentioning, but man-o-man, the size of the leaves are pretty impressive! I think I will start a leaf collection!!!
Grow them leaves big, Mark

In my case I believe the problem may be genetic. I'm thinking that because Iv'e had plenty of males on this plant but not one has bloomed. My soil test was right on this year. The last fert I sprayed was bloom boost 15/30/15 about 1 month ago. I had a plant do the same thing last year. Another plant in the same patch went to 1048lbs. and had normal male flowers.
