How about if the stump was pulled out only 10 days after pollination?

dynia, they can still go big. I have told my story a few times, lost my stump in 2006 7 days before even pollinating on my plant, the fruit was on a pace for 1150 lbs, it split and stopped at 950 estimated, she weighed light but still 861 lbs. If she would have help together, it would have weighed over 1000 lbs easy. And this is in hot southern california where a 1000 lber is HUGE :) I was astonished at what the plant did, it was as if the plant didn't even know it was missing a stump. Jimmy

I lost the crown on my plant last year at about day 2. Only about 4-5 decent sides and maybe 200 ft of plant total! 672#.

depends on how big the pumpkin is at the time of stump loss, and how well you have buried your secondaries.

Edit above post.
Should be 186 OTT. Not 203. I was worried for a minute. :>)

Andy,
Female is 1096.5 Privitera (1068 Wallace x 998 Pukos) crossed with 1174 Wallace (1068 Wallace x 1125 Jutras)
I really just want to get this to maturity as I want the seeds more than anything. But over 800 would be a personal best.
