Subject: Good Question, what kind of pumpkins do cows eat?

There is a question from a farmer in russia that wants to grow pumpkins for his cows on the seed exchange post, I don't know if I should volunteer and send him seeds because I have no idea what kind of pumpkins a cow eats, if any.

They will eat anything. we feed the cows over here pretty much anything we can get hold of they got a feed of reject potato chips a while ago and they were still hot out of the pre cooker.

I give all my cut up giant pumpkins to my wife's Uncle's cows every year ... they love em .

Conneticut field pumkins used to be grown as fodder, my cows like them!

The hungarian giants used to be grown mostly for cow fodder....until some obsessive-compulsives started breeding them for giants......
