once the fruit is set and over basketball size, i am noticing newer vines going out near the stump.
should i snip all these vines off to keep energy going to the fruit or keep them on?

I snip them off as well. You may occasionally find tertiary vines growing in your plants, like I do....I cut these off as well. I don't know if I missed these when burying vines, or if they pop up later?

I sometimes leave these surprise vines that grow out later from the stump, if my leaves are looking worn on the rest of my plant I will let them grow for a little more juice.
