I terminated sucker vines the whole season as the plants was growing. 2 weeks ago, i terminated all the secondary and main vines and burried them.
I still notice some sucker vines coming off the secondary vines to this day. The one day they're not there, the next day they are 2 feet long.
Just a reminder to any newbies or whoever to keep looking for these sucker vines under the leaves, hate to give up a few pounds on the fruit due to these things sucking up some nutrients/energy.
Good luck.

I'm thinking these are tertiary vines. I seem to get a few popping up in most of my plants. I usually don't see them until they are 2-3' long. I feel I'm pretty good at pinching tertiaries off when vine burying...apparently not good enough LOL.

Pinching tertiaries does good for only a while. They will reappear all season long. Keep your pocket knife sharp.
