I have two pumkins on side vines, on about 170 lbs, pollinated about 7-1 one about 120lbs.both gaining only between 10-15lbs a day I have one on the main out about 16-18' pollinated on 7-11 it is only 40 inch circ.only gaining 3" a day
is the one on the main a lost cause?
if i decide cull down to one, is it too late to see any better gains?

The ones on the side vines will take away from the growth of the one on the main.

Slowly severe the side vine pumpkin vines at the main. If they have root nodes the pumpkin will continue to grow. We often did this if we have a particular cross or some one who wants only 200lber
