Some of my leaves are turning color, some yellow and some brown. I have taken some pictures and was wondering how to have some one look at them and give me some advice? Thank you Mark

If around the stump, they are just getting old. Starting at stump and working down the main, the leaves will die as the season progresses.

I am in Alabama and I have the same question. The leaves nearest the stump and now beginning to progress down the vines are turning yellow, then brown around the edges and eventually dying all together.
Is there anything I can do to extend the life of these leaves or is it purely a natural process? I hate to lose such large leaves if there is anything I can do.
The vines seem to be perfectly healthy farther from the stump.
Also, should I cut off the sick/dying leaves or just let them decline?

From what I have been reading it looks like my plant is heat stressed. I guess I need to learn about misters for next year.
