Subject:  Big pumpkin----Without a stump ???

On one of my plants i noticed the stump was completly gone from under (but looked fine from above) & a hole there,It was either gofers or a ground squirrel!! The 733 Ciliberto plant looks perfectly fine still ,Has anyone herd of Any or Many pumpkins that grew without stump that got to over 1000 lbs , thanks Glenn

Cool you guys thanks, I guess i will still give it all the attention i am giving the others !! The 733 t ciliberto is same cross as the 1068 & so far the little guy is doing great !!

my 950 boyton lost the stump before even pollinating, my pumpkin grew to 950 estimated, and split. It weighed 861 lbs and was on pace to do 1150 estimated, or about 1050 lbs real weight. If you get a good plant, don't worry, stumps are not needed! Lol ;)

Wasn't Elaina Bobbitt's husband stumpless for awhile, they sewed it back on and he did some pornos. He must of had to take truckloads of viagra, but I digress.
