where i plan to grow my first pumpkin next year is at the end ov my garden but i burnt the old trees ther if i turn she ash in to soil will it still grow

Wood ash is a great amendment for soil, lots of potash in it, so it won't hinder growth, it will help it!

Check the pH. Wood ash is like lime so too much can be a problem.
