I have a 1010 Frantz going with it's typical concaved belly button and they typically split here when larger. Besides making sure the pumpkin is level (suggestion I got from Jeff Reid) what else can I do while the pumpkin is small and young and latter as well when big?

Most experienced growers will tell you right up front...."Don't plant splitters or sons of splitters!"

I usually will never plant splitter's but there was something about the 1010 that just called to me to take the chance. So a little less preemptive suggestions are a little more useful at this point. but it is good advise Stan.

Try growing it in a strong wooden box with the belly button end open. Hopefully it'll force all your growth to the front of the fruit, thickening the blossom end and reducing your chance of a split...seriously, honestly...try it rookie;)

Liquid calcium sprays.

I've sprayed Calcium....I've used calcium-soaked towels....they still split!

PS. Try to not fall in love with a specific seed with a bad history. It took me about five years to learn that!
