I pulled off one of my old half dead male flower to show my husband as he was interested in how I helped in making a pumpkin baby (big shock...I know) Is that all boys ever think about????? :) Anyway, when I pulled the petals off, I notice a white sluggish looking bug inside. I was so grossed out that I just threw the flower. Now after reading online I am wondering what it was. Is it a slug or a SVB? I am kinda freaked out as my summer squash in my other garden across the yard appeared to have some SVB damage. I need to see if I can do some surgery to remove it. I guess my main question is whick bug is more likely to be hiding in a flower? I will find out tomorrow for sure, but now that I did more research online...I am freaking out.
