I have two females at the same node on one of my plants. No other double tendencies at that node. They will lay on opposite sides of the vine. They look like they'll open on Friday. First pollinations on that plant. What would you do?: 1.Cut one off today. 2.Leave both and pollinate both. 3.Leave both, and pollinated one(incase one has messed up lobes. 4.Do something else?

I'd just pollinate both and see what happens.

If you want to pollinate a fruit at that spot I'd pollinate both and see what happens.

Thanks for the input. One of the females had some deformity near the flower tip, so I culled it...I'm glad I did, as the lobes were quite jumbled up. I hope the other female looks good when I pollinated in the morning, as this plant has had a number of females with jumbled lobes.
