how do you repare a pumpkin that has split, just rondering thanks

totally depends on where and how it split,,,plumbers Goop,, if it widens try some spray foam insulation
the big trick is sealing the void ASAP in a matter of a few hours as air enters carring bacteria the chance of growing the fruit to maturity drops rapidly

all right thanks like i said i was just wondering on how to repare a split, cuzz i have a bad feeling about splits this year do to all the darn rain.

When you say plumber's "goop" , do you mean the same as plumber's putty???
