I have a good one on. But I fear that I don't have enough plant to keep it's growth up as it gets bigger. So I would like to give her a little Nitro to push the plant so that I have enough plant to support my pumpkin as it get's bigger. So the question is will this possibly blow up my pumpkin or turn it off? to do or not to do that is the Question.

I'm in sort of the same situation. I've just been using a balanced fertilizer like 6-6-7 every week, but its my first year so I don't know the answer to your question.

Both...Moderation is the key. Too much is worse than too little. Watch leaf color - green not blue.

Watch for yellow ring around leaves, if so, to much N is the case.

Yellowing leaves can also mean lack of N.
