Ok, besides my pumpkin patch I have a pepper garden and my mom grows a lot of garlic. I was thinking about making a pesticide/fungicide out of some of these resources because of synthetics decimating microbe populations and too much of either of the two potentially killing or harming your plant. So, I was thinking of soaking 1 tbsp. of some ground dehydrated habanero I made last year (pretty wicked stuff) and 1 cut up clove of garlic in a quart of water for 24 hrs. and then spray up my plant really good with it. The habanero will repel inects while the garlic will do the same while also having a fungicidal property. what do you guys think?

What I've done if trying something alternative on the bugs I would like to eliminate is I spray the mixture directly on the insect I am trying to kill and see if it works. I would also try your experiment on one leaf and watch it for a few days to see how the plant will react to the mixture. I've never tried garlic and peppers. We have used Neem oil and it works on the cucumber beetle. If it is a fungicide problem you are having, I would experiment on only one leaf and see. Also I would not spray in the heat of the day. Good luck.

I've heard that garlic will kill some beneficial insects as well. Plants will fry spraying oil in the hot weather we've been having.
