if you cut of the leaf at the fruit node . do tou cut it off even with the vine, or a little above it ? . thanks , Bill

i cut mine with a quarter inch nub left.

Cut it as flush as possible. Less chance of water standing inside the remaining stem and causing vine rot.

Anyone see pumpkin growth slow down after pruning the secondary, leaf stalk and tap root all at the same time?
