I can't seem to keep my terminated vines from popping out of the soil once they are buried. They stay hidden for a day or two but that's it. Any and all tips are much appreciated.

terminated vine tips will always want to remain elevated in the air. its natural. especially if the soil is jacked up.
when you terminate you should not try and intentionaly bury the vine tip.
we always let the vine grow a bit past the termination point then when we do go back and terminate we leave a leaf at the termination point sticking up in the air.
