Why do the pumpkin leaves sometimes hang very low? They freak me out like they are sick. The time is 4:00 PM and most are pointing directly at the sun, but this one and a few others are not. Whats up with this? http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/3573/dsc03945pt6.jpg

i have a plant 965 Northrup that droops every day that gets over 75, it is not in an ideal location. In the good spot no drooping even when it is 100f the 1502 is a champ.

Some plants flag at 75 some don't flag until it's 95. It's a genetic thing. Proper soil moisture does go a long ways also.

95 today and yesterday here in Denver. The new leaves on the end of the vines on my plant look like folded umbrellas. The new leaves can be very tender and don't have the structure to support themselves when it gets really hot and dry. That is particularly true for my plant. I've been misting and trying to cover those leaves with chairs but it hasn't been working great so far. The forecast is for cooler weather over the next week so hopefully things will return to normal soon.
