I have some round shaped fruit behind females that will bloom in the next few days. Do these usually stay round or do the wheel shaped fruit start out round and then grow tall. Do the wheel shaped fruit start out disk shaped?

Our pumpkins all have started out round or oval shaped. Some have gone to wheels but we couldn't tell what they were going to do shape-wise until much later.
