Subject: ribs showing?

To all of the experienced growers... is it ok if the newly "set" fruit starts to show "ribs" or is that a sign of the fruit slowing down and shrinking? Any thoughts or experiences with this? Thanks Bumkin

it happens and most times means nothing. we have had them on many young pumpkins that grew quite well
