Take a look at these pumpkins blossom ends that are being grown by Ron Rahe that he is growing off my 183 seed. The pumpkin looks funky and alien looking doesnt it? Pretty darn neat looking so far I think.lol!! I have never seen a pumpkin with a butt that big before, Ha!!! Its half blossom end and half pumpkin,LOL!! I cant wait to see what they grow up to look like. I have a couple 183 plants growing but cant tell if they will be like Rons, mine are still to small to tell(pea size).
Ron said the blossom ends might be a problem later, and by the looks of them he might be right, I hope the blossom ends hold together especially when they start packing on pounds later in the season.
