Im not getting that feeling there is going to be a world record this year , atleast coming from the eastern side of the United States. Its been a cold and wet May, and lots of high winds, rain and hail in June. Seems like alot of great growers are getting smashed by the weather.
Its going to be interesting to see where the biggest pumpkin comes from this year. Id guess to say it comes from the Western side of the states, like California.
I havnt heard much about bad weather or bad luck in Canada this year ether, good possability the biggest comes from there.
The season isnt over yet and anything can happen growing these brutes, its just going to be interesting to find out at the end of the season who grows what. What do you guys think?

We have had decent temps, but most of us have seen hail as well as the most rain we have seen in 20-30 years. Very wet here too. You are right though, anything can happen.

We say that just about every year and someone makes it happen. I would image we see 1740 this year. I believe it is going to be a lessor know grower and we will have no clue that it is going to happen until it hits the scales.
