Sort of Sunny Sometimes, WA

Okay. . . every season so far I've had at least one dream (usually nightmare) about my pumpkins. This year I've already had two. One that it snowed right after I took the plastic off my hoops killing all my plants, and last night that it hailed the size of marbles. I have to admit, that's not big hail to some of you, but it was enough to wake me up. Anybody else have pumpkin growing dreams/nightmares?

I know this is going to sound corny Boom cause it sure did to me LOL, but a buddy of mine from work who I wont mention any names ( John Jaskowiak) told me about a dream he kept having over and over that kept waking him up last year, said he was sleeping in his bed and when he went to roll over he dreamed he was rolling over on his vines and a female he just pollinated ,LOL!! I laughed like hell every time he told me about this dream. Ha!

I woke up last night thinking I needed to pollinate. Im sure the dreams will get worse as the season progressess.

I had one in April during the greenhouse/hotkap sitting for my hard shell greenhouse and FF's hotkap... I'd grown one that was like twice the record, it was on the pallet, and I was going to lean on it, hands on it, for a picture. And the side broke and in I went, and I'm swimming in pumpkinguts... I wake up and I"m all tangled in the bed and my hubby's at the door wondering what's going on. My first dang... I could've SWORN I had a handful of seeds... sigh.

No pumpkin dreams yet, but, I always look out our bedroom window in the morning looking to see that big orange beauty out back. Hoping this season will be the same, but, maybe with any luck a bit bigger this year. After the season was over last year, it was hard looking out the bedroom window and not seeing orange in the patch. LOL!
