It's pollination time so which seed has grown the best "lettuce" for you so far?
1018 Van Hook is my best, pollinating tomorrow.

275 Van Hook wont stop, leaves like Ive never seen, males all over and females to boot. It hard not to want to pollinate all of them.

My 1161 Holland 05, named two scales. The first two leaves were 5 inchs x 2 1/2, huge, really past the lettuce test.

FatFred the generic is the queen for hanging in...

1018 Langevin is classic vine, very good looking and taking over... Big happy leaves and well branched. Has two (2 and 3 days old) at the moment, deciding at 10.

1009 Young, just can't get over how the first secondary is ruling the plant (and you couldn't ask for a nicer looking vine off that) and that neon yellow. One 3 day old and waiting for another (in about 3 more days).

after the bad storm that set me back some, Id say its a tie between the 1231 Pukos( last female set on the main before main broke((LUCKY!)),female set at 20ft) and the 1450 Wallace(females set at 12ft and 25ft).

The surprise plant is the 1462 Gibson (female set at 14ft), boy is it coming on strong. (((Alan, save me a seed for next year!)))

901 Hunt(1093 Hunt x 898 Knauss)here. It's almost twice as big as our other two plants (1689 Jutras & 1631 Mckie), with a main over 20' now & secondaries @ 12'+. Hopefully the pumpkin will grow just as well as the plant. Pumpkin was pollinated @ 13-14' on June 29th. Let the games begin.

My 1388 LaRue is a huge plant, low growing and perfect shaped plant. I hardly had to move any vine, it's growing in a perfect Christmas tree shape.
