Does Air quality play a part in growing pumpkins? Because it is really out of control in terms of smoke. The "Left" Coast is on FIRE! Anyone else having a hard time breathing?

Heat wave and extra carbon dioxide = world record on the left coast.

I'm not in Socal but up north it was a smokey as the bad place last week. Thursday was the worst! Things have cleared for now. Haven't notice any effect upon the patch. So I guess you could said I happy to not be growing pumpkins at my almamater--UCSB. SLO was pretty nice and cheaper dirt. Dont have any advice on constant foliar of carbon dioxide.
