I just got back from camp today. Mu parents have been taking care of my plant with a vine split going the same way as the vine. The older groth is a bright yellow color on part of the leaves. My parents have been keeping dry gause on the plit while I was gone. There is new growth on the plant. Please help.

I have an inch and half eight of an inch wide vine split about three feet from the stump on the main vine. What should I do?
