I will have a female ready around july 1st at 7'6 out,at the rate the main is growing I probably won't have another ready till around july 8th at closer to 10 ft. What say the heavy hitters? lose a week of growth to be another 2'6 out? I won't wait any longer than the next one I see. 10 ft is the best I'll get I'm afraid.

I would pollinate both, but I would aim to keep the one at 10 ft.

7 ft is to close if you have your eyes set on a biggin.
its tempting because you never know if that second one ( or third) will make it what with weather ,etc.
if you do pollinate at 7 ft hope and pray the second one takes so you can cull the 7 footer

I hear ya pap and ppp, I'll pollinate from here on and decide later. I just don't want to slow the plant growth too much.
