Watching the weather around the country one can see that this is a vary difficult growing season! rain of epic proportion, Hail the size of golf balls, cold nights, cloudy days. All add up to challenges that could end a season before it started. Talking to some of the top growers in RI who's patches have being ravaged by these conditions shows me that."when the going gets tough, the tough get going!" and that is why they are always in the winners circle. So don't get down! some times you have to improvise adapt and overcome. to clime that mountain stay focused and your dream will come true!!!!

we were a bit lucky at the wallace patch and did not get a lot of damage. some growers have ten and better holes in there leaves.
the good part? the plants will recover. they may not last as long later in the season but for now they will still do there jobs. just hope it never hails heavy when the fruit is growing and only covered with a sheet. that spells trouble. we all know what happens to bruised fruit
now tornados? that another story. flooding is also something you usually do not recover from either
