Paul was one of the first Canadians that I met when I first attended Niagara 6 or 7 years ago. He made me feel welcome. He was a really nice fellow with a great sense of humor.

Paul was a friend to all who wanted to be positive and enjoy themselves. The 1st time I visited with Paul and Pat
he had a carved pumpkin in his front yard that had gone down. The UOW was between 900 and 1000 lbs, this in the
same year that Todd Kline broke the world record at 1036 lbs.

He was a friend and I will always cherish his memory.

Rest in peace my friend:

My condolensces to the McIntyre family. I hooked up with Paul early in my AG career and he in turn set me up with seeds...I was overwhelmed a nobody could get genuine help so readily and freely! I think he had the best pumpkin hauler goin, anyone else remember the pics of his tailgate with the airbrushed AG?

Duff:

I remember the pumpkin hauler with the great painted tailgate. I even helped Paul load his pumpkins and
watermelon onto the truck and trailer. Somewhere on the web is a picture of Paul and Tim Caniff of Florida
loading his pumpkin, the year before I visited, I think
it was his 836.

Paul was a great guy and we have all lost a friend, even the younger growers who never knew him.

Thanks Duff for a good memory.

My prayers to Pat and the family:
