I bought an Echo blower/mister from a fellow grower. I can easily go through a 3 gallon tank for 2 large plants in 5 minutes. When I spray it looks like all the leaves and stalks are getting sprayed (by mist carried into the plant at least) but when I go to spot check leaves to ensure coverage, I don't see much of anything on the bottom of the leaves. Maybe slight dampness, but no drops, etc.
I know the sprayers are supposed to be more efficient, and this takes my spray time from at least 3 hours to about 10 minutes in total (including mixing). I just want to make sure that I am not wasting my time....that is, am I getting adequate coverage? Is this basically the same situation for other growers who use these blowers?

you are putting too much on. if you mixed correctly, making one pass on the plants is all you need. i could do 10 plants with 3 gal. bill

jordan when i use my blower/mister you can barely tell the plants are damp. it takes much less water to put the same amount of poison out with the blower/mister. it use to take 12 gallons of spray in my back pack sprayer to cover my patch of 5 vines when they were full size, spraying the top and bottom of the leaves. it took a very long time. I had to fill it up 3 or 4 times to get the job done. i was using 1/4 teaspoon of warrior per gallon. when i got my stihl blower sprayer i would mix 1/4 teaspoon of warrior per qt. so i would mix up 3 gallons (12 qts) of spray with 12-1/4 teaspoons of warrior and get the job done. in other words you could say i was using 3 teaspoons of warrior for 4500 sq ft. with the old sprayer it took 12 gallons of water to get the warrior out, with the blower/sprayer i can get the same amount of warrior out with 3 gallons of water. doug jn. 3:16
