I ventured outside this morning to check things out and on my plant that I call money, the one i found my first female on there was a little ooze coming from the main about 7 inches from the end. What I found is a tiny crack or split. it did not open completely. I tried to relieve any stress by placing more soil under it. will this kill my chances of continued growth? another thing is that no matter how i ease the vine down, i go out the next day and what ever new growth has happened, has turned toward the sky! any answers ou there? pap you will probably have an answer for me. you always do!!!

sounds like you have way to much nitrogen or some other ferts in your soil
thats why you get the vine tips facing upward. they are also very brittle and will snap easily when in that condition. (like that tiny split) they also can break off from rain or from just trying to move itwhen its stiff.
the ozz tah tyou saw should be like a clear droplet ot two of sap? if so its normal when a crack develops.
sounds like you need to suspend all fertalizing and spraying of ferts for such time as it takes to get the plant vine tips to start laying down. you should be ok after a week or so
