I would say we are on time for 10 ft....about 6 days behind for 15 ft pollination.

yep a lot of us are not as well off as we were last spring. we have a couple that are doing great and will be on time and several that will need a good september. our own seed stocks are the front runners.

Same here, probably a week behind where I'd like to see the plants.

THat is the beautiful part about Ken and John's website here, the personal diaries. I have been submitting to these diaries for 5 years now, so I have the ability to go in and compare year to year plants. Being lucky enough to avoid the hail around my area, I am on time for a June 29-30th pollenation. I already took off one female at 10 ft and have another in the 12 1/2 ft range. That one may be my keeper. The 502 is looking like a golden area timed pollenation of July 4th (which happens to be my birthday too!).
In a nutshell, get diaries going so you can see how you stand against your past years, it is such an added benefit when trying to figure "where you stand).

About 2 weeks behind on all plants except one in the greenhouse which is about a week behind last year.

I'm likely around 10 days or more behind here. I'm thinking pollinations will be around July 10-15.

I just past 6ft so I'm looking at either 10ft in early july or wait till mid month and set one at around 12 ft, I have too many things blocking the morning sun.

lets say you pollinate at 10' out on the main? how much longer should you let the main get before burying it and let the pumpkin get all the juice?

I hope to pollinate by the first week of July. I spotted a female on both the tips of the 1068 Larue and 842.5 Polka
