Does anyone know if the Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay is a GPC event? Also the website says the weigh-off is on a Monday. Is that correct? Seems strange for it to be on a Monday.

Also, when and at what time is the Topsfield event this year? My good wife and kids got me a trip to one of the pumpkin events for Father's day. Any recommendations? The Colorado event is already on my list because that is where my pumpkin is going. I'm looking for a good vacation place with a great pumpkin event.

I like to go to the Half Moon Bay weigh off.Also the one in Canby Oregon is great too.The Monday weigh off in Half Moon Bay is right. They have a whole week there celebrate the pumpkin festival there. Paso Robles Ca. Has a good Weigh-Off worth going to also. That was the only one I could go to last year. I believe all 3 are a GPC event.

It is my understanding that the Half Moon Bay Weigh-Off is not a GPC event. The weigh-off has usually been on Columbus Day, which is a Monday. This year it should be on the 13th of October.

Half Moon Bay is not GPC.
HMB is always on Columbus Day (which is always on a Monday).

Half Moon Bay has been invited and encouraged to join the GPC but it has not happened as of yet. We will keep asking. Maybe someday..... Elk Grove, Paso Robles, Uesigi Farms in Morgan Hill all are Great GPC events. C'mon over and join us this year, ArvadaBoy! hope to see you at one of these events.
