LB,
A few morning thunderstorms across extreme western Kansas will pose a hail threat. As a cold front moves across western Kansas today, more widespread strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop in advance of the dryline. The best chance for severe thunderstorms will be east of a line from Wakeeney to Dodge City. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes will be possible. Take snow any day, it seems to land better then baseball size hailstones.

LB,
Seems like everything starts out that way. Now I know who to blame. We are the eatern part mentioned. Going to be fun tonight. OOh look mom scare crows. No son that is the crazy pumpkin growing family holding steel reinforced umbrellas over their plants. Hope the lightning holds off for awhile. Saw the old lady & her flying broom circling work at lunch time!! AS they say in the funny pages it may get ugly.

Flash flooding possibility, here in central MN, this afternoon until tomorrow morning. Quite a change from the last two hot, dry growing seasons.

Here in Idaho we will flirt with freezing temps the next two nights. We've already had about two weeks of below average temps.

We've had 6 tornados touch down in Ohio this week and we've recieved around 4 1/2" of rain with more severe weather coming in tonight. On a brighter side the temps have been around 90 the past couple of days.
