bryan the soil lady in canfield said to use alfafa to choke out disease and bust up subsoil i can get the seed if you cant find any. i got some growing in next years patch and its growing great dan

I rotate between giant pumpkins and vegetables, and move things around each year.

There is an annual alfalfa called Nitro. Puts lots of nitrogen in the soil and will not over-winter.
