Here is a link to the "Giant Pumpkins, a Growing Subculture" article that Val wrote for her journalism class http://vhuff305.blogspot.com/ Go to the May 30th entry. Her assignment was limited to I believe 40 lines or two pages, so she couldn't make it as long as she'd like.
Her comment to me was: "that's the story i turned in... and again, i really wish it could have been longer! if anyone ever wants me to make it longer and better for a local submission or anything, i can do that fa show... it was fun to write!"
