I recently read about this in an agricultural periodical. http://www.orangebulldogpumpkin.uga.edu/index.html A Georgia university used germ plasm from a south american vegatable to make this pumpkin resistant to a lot of diseases. They also said that it was a pumpkin/winter squash. If it can be done why not breed that into AG's. Is anyone doing that? -Kevin
