I am pretty sure I will need to remove a leaf that is preventing the main vine to come down to ground level? do most of you feel this early leaf removal will be detrimental to growth this early in the game? Thanks for any and all response. Bumkin

I removed a leaf for the same reason. To me it was more important to get the main vine down and I doubt you will notice any slow down in growth.

Did the same thing to allow a vine to drop. Didn't hurt growth at all.

yeah, what they said, lol. i suppose i would cut it off as close to the vine or stem from which it emanates as possible, no need to 'leave' any of it still there, lol --eric g

early on you need every possible leaf. id just dig out a bit more under the leaf stem so the main can still lay down. cut it later if its a problem. need those early leaves pap
