Where can I get a "hoop house", how expensive are they, and how well do they work. What do they look like, I've never seen one? I am looking to keep my pumpkins warm at night

It can be as easy and inexpensive as you want. I made one out of 4 pieces of 1/2 pvc. some 1/2 pvc clamps (hooks to hold them in place, and a 4x8 square made from 4 2x3's. Make the frame and bend the pvc over in a hoop like a quanset hut. Cover with 4 mill plastic and staple gun. Make 2 half moons for the sides. Find some cheap clamps to hold up the sides so you can open them during hot days. Make sure to drive in a couple of 1x1 tomato stakes to hold it down. I just used deck screws into the frame.
I also know growers that just clamp the 4 mil plastic to the pvc stuck in the ground.

Cut this one in half and it is good for 2 hoophouses.
