Hi, well my plants are growing quite well in the pots, are hardened off and ready to plant in the patch. We are going to be getting 4 or 5 days of rain here in SE Kentucky. If I dont plant them today, I will have to wait days.. Should I protect my plants once they are in the ground? We should have no more frost. Would the rain expected beat the dickens out of my plants? Any advise will be apprecited...thanks. Croley

5 days of constant battering by rain isn't going to help any seedling, i would cover them with a cloche if nothing else, just to make the transition from pot to soil s bit easier.

if frost danger is over make a three sided plastic structure for them.two sides and a awning.that will let them have natural light and give them wind and hard rain protection.use a pvc frame with short rebar (pushed into the dirt)to secure it, clip the plastic onto the pvc with utility clams.the orange clamps they have at home depot
