Well all I have to say is you can take the grower out of the pumpkin patch, and basically take his patch away from him. But you can not take the Pumpkin Patch out of the grower. I am not planting the field this year. I will be planting a 454 Engel on some virgin ground. I have planted a ton of shade loving perennials. Keeping busy... Have a new girlfriend, who has 10 acres of woods..I have the chainsaw busy, although she likes this stuff called lawn. I give her one season to be hooked.

Ohhh Bob forget about the Prettiest Pumpkin, just have the ribbon made out to Chardonnay..as it is a 454..always the prettiest at the show. Just one pumpkin also so I might just have to get serious...and go for 1,500lbs
