Bill is still not doing well. He is going in for his fifth surgery on his leg. Lot of infections setting in. Hopfully this is the last.I want to thank you for all your well wishes. You can't know what it meant to both of us. Please keep them us in your thoughts and prayers

im very sad that he wont be competing this year but more so im concerned for bills health.

infections can be a real problem as i am fully aware.

I know Bill is in good company with you at his side Linda. One of my favorite pumpkin pictures of all time, is you and Bill either side of his 1566 World Record pumpkin, that photo tells a story if I ever saw one. If the doctors will allow, make sure Bill gets outside in the fresh air and sunshine, that can do a world of good for a guy that most certainly loves the outdoors. Bill you hang in there, you will be back. I started one of your seeds out of your 1566. The main is now 9ft on a stout compact plant, also the first female was pollinated today on this plant. Even if you can't get a plant in the ground Bill you can follow the progress of one of your 1566 plants taking on the unmerciful Alaskan weather on my diary. Keep the faith Bill and Linda.
