I germinated a few extra plants in case I had problems with my others. If anyone in northern California needs a plant or two let me know. I have four extra 639 Pugh plants (500 Wallace x 1068 Wallace).

Russ.... I noticed in a recent bp post that Mike Brock (in Boonville) is growing again this year. Seems like he was looking for some good genetics to get him going again.

I will be driving to the Mendocino coast next week. If Mike wants one, I can pick one up from you and drop it off to him.
I'll give him a call and see if he is interested.
The fact that it grew a 1278 pounder its first year out, and was 12% heavy, might get his attention.

No one here wanted my 3 extra seedlings so last night I listed them on Craigs List in the farm/garden section. My asking price was FREE with NO delivery! Within 10 hours I had 88 emails from people wanting them. You should see some of the emails. I had to delete the ad off of Craigs List. People really, really want to grow giant pumpkins. I think I will start some more and give them away too.
