I think you are referring to captan which is a fungicide and can be bought at most good garden centers or nurserys.

It is easily available. If your garden center does not have it then have them order it.

be carefull with that captan. it does not dry well and will get soft again overnight promoting additional problems.
use it sparingly

most small cracks and splits in the stem ,etc, will heal themselves.(if the stem splits go into the fruit a fan can help heal the crack

ya dont usually get splits on a pumpkin unless its either as mentioned above or a small set at the blossom ( or a dreaded blow out)
if its a blow out you will need a really big bandage- lol

also if you want to disinfect an area or the whole fruit for that matter?
using a solution of 9 parts water and 1 part bleach to wipe down the fruit also works. (spray it inside the split)
