Hi. What I am looking for is grower associations that offen seed packages to thier memebers. I like to save my own seeds but I do not have that great of seed stock. I would like to be able to give seeds to other growers in my area to spred the growing bug. The GVGO offers a great seed package and that is kind of what I am looking for but with a bit more focus on other giant vegetables. That way I can get intrest in the schools because I am involved quite a bit with our local fall fair. I don't expect any thing for free but if there is a membership to be paid then you receive seeds along with newsletters that are full of great infrormation then that would be perfict. Sorry about the long winded message guys but I like to expand my seed collection and spread the bug.
If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.
I won't write any thing this long again.

I'm not posting that because I am too cheap to buy seeds though. I spent alot of money on seeds this year and most of the seeds from the stores are from such a diluted stock that you never know what you are going to get. Too many cups of coffee in the moring and I get way to twitchy. Just--to---plant-----something. Hahaha. Jeeez

Ben, you are more than welcome to check out the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers. We've typically given out very generous seed packets to our renewing members every year. We actually have a few member packets still available if you are interested. Check our our website at pgvg.org.

Ditto for the PGPGA (Pennsylvania Giant Pumpkin Growers Association. THey give out awesome seeds every year with great parentage, all for the price of 15 dollars for the yearly membership. For more info, go to PGPGA.com.

You also get quarterly newsletters, a nice ID card and wall hangin certificate, as well as great feedback and advice from the Checkons and such.
