Thanks in advance, pH is a little low, High Ca PPM and CAC seems high but I do not know how to interpret.
Soil test is back. pH=6.4 OM=13.8%, (all in PPM) P=205, K=264, Ca=3423, Mg=242, CAC 28.0 meq/100g %Base Saturation K=3.5, Mg=10.1, Ca=86.6, Micros Boron=0.9, Mangenese=3.8, Zinc=5.6, Copper=0.2, Iron-2.2, Sulphur= 110

Rob,
Tweak that pH a bit keeping in mind you don't need more magnesium so don't use Dolomitic Lime. Finding Calcitic Lime is a bother so you might do well to pick up 50 lbs (per 1000 tilled) of Solucal (about $14 but worth it).
Our home office in Holyoke stocks Solucal if you have trouble finding it locally.
I'd like to see that potash come up too. 15 lbs of sulfate of potash (0-0-50) per 1000 tilled to 9" wouldn't be too much but DON'T use that much muriate of potash (0-0-60).
15 bs SOP 0-0-50 50 lbs Solucal

How to Grow III has some good info on soil tests. CAC increases with the increasing content of %base saturation of the three. It means less than the base saturation percent of each staying within boundaries given in the test. I may have issues with too much magnesium. I do have 0-0-50 I will spread and will be looking for calcitic lime or Solucal.
