Brooks I don't know if you are receiving my e-mails or not so here goes. Up until very recently I had space for 4, maybe 5 plants. That suddenly changed and I was forced to narrow my choices to 2 or 3 plants and I already had 6 plants started. My line up this year was never a secret and your 1402 was among my favorites. All of my starters were multiples except the 1402 so I decided to wait just a little longer to plant it, so when I got the bad news that my patch size was reduced, the 1402 was the only one not already in dirt. With 6 plants already growing I didn't see the sense in starting the 1402. I returned the seed to you because I don't want to be seen as one of those guys who contacts a grower for a hot seed like yours and then changes his mind. I know you only kept a few for yourself and the 1402 quickly sold out at Dills for $15. My father was old school and always said " Don't say you're going to to something unless you plan on doing it" I hope I didn't offend you, that certainly wasn't my intention. I try to stay on the good side of heavy hitters lol, but seriously, I apologize if sending the seed back wasn't kosher.

Andy, I got your email brother. I respect what you did alot, espically when you knew I didnt have much left, BUT, I would have much rather you have kept them, I sent them seeds to you (a good friend that I met on here this year) to have to do with what ever you wanted to with them, save em, trade em or eat em,lol!
I and everyone eles on here knows your a straight shooter and Im sure no one thinks your a seed horder, but if you was a seed horder I still would have sent them to ya anyway, not because your a horder but because your my friend.(Kinda like the saying'' he aint heavy, hes my brother!,lol). But I got one thing to say to you Andy, ''Next year when I send you seeds, you better not send them back!!!,lol.

Brooks, did you see my diary post? My 1402 blew out the side of the seed and I don't think it is going to germinate. Did this happen to anyone else?

Your right Brooks, Andy is a stand up guy and a straight shooter.

It is too bad that someone else on here questioned Andy's seed trading and perhaps that is why he may be a bit gun shy.

I know I give cops a hard time in my diary (Lawman deserves it) but Andy is one heck of a nice guy!!
