The nursery where I buy Premier Pro-Mix only has Pro-Mix Plus this season. It's the same except for having a wetting agent added. Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy it? Thanks, Charlie

None that I can think of. Premier makes outstanding soils & a wetting agent can only help using it that much easier.

I use 60 to 70 bales of Pro-Mix per year. This year they have added "Myscorise" to the standard Pro-Mix. Last year I ran out of the Pro-Mix i purchase wholesale so I picked some up at Home DePot which was packaged differently and had "water crystals" added, I bought six bales. I could not get that junk to take on water. I hated it. I don't know id it was because it was possibly too old or sitting out in the sun too long but I'll never buy it again. I still have a half bale here I'll probably just toss into the compost pile.
