LOL!!! I know exactly what your going to say ! So let me get this out of the way first,,lmao!! I have Mill fabric, but just wanted to see what you guys thought of this idea, so here it goes, Ha! I know you kinda frowned on my telephone wire idea for my fence, lol! But what do you guys think about using the black canvas off a trampoline for protection for your pumpkin to sit on while it grows? Cut it up in say a 6x6 square to set your pumpkin on? Think it would last and help prevent mice from chewing up into your pumpkin? Its really tough stuff and would be easy for your pumpkin to slide on when it grows. I'm kinda afraid to ask , but what do ya think? LOL!(Its the closest thing I have seen to mill fabric and if you have a old trampoline in your yard you been wanting to get rid of, why not give this a try?

Everyone knows that trampoline fabric is only rated for field pumpkins, Big Max variety and any type of squash, especially in the Long Island region of New York. It does not conduct electricity.

If you ever run into problems through out the year, the fruit should bounce back in no time...
